Import Dropdown List Items from CSV File
The items of the dropdown element are read from a CSV file:
- The CSV file must be uploaded to the web server.
- The first line of the CSV file must contain the column names.
- You can also export an Excel spreadsheet to a CSV file.
- The items are updated every time the form page loads.
- The items can be combined with static items.
The data from the CSV file should not contain
any personal, confidential or secret data, as in principle all data is readable
by the user.

for the use or consequential damage caused by the use of this function.
Using CSV Files
Important:
- The first line of the CSV file must contain the column names.
- A CSV file can contain either a semicolon or a comma as a separator, as different separator characters are used in different regions.
- Optionally, field names and values may contain the field delimiter double quotation-mark (e.g. "Name").
- Most spreadsheet programs, such as MS Excel, include a function for exporting to the CSV format, so in most cases, you do not need to worry about the format.
