Windows ODBC DSN Setup
How to setup a DSN on 64bit systems for 32bit applications
Imporant:
If you have created the DSN using "Administrative
Tools" > "Data Sources (ODBC)" on a 64bit system
then a 32bit application
will not be able to access the DSN
To setup a DSN for 32bit applications on 64bit systems you must use:
"%windir%\syswow64\odbcad32.exe"
(Run the odbcad32.exe in this folder and create a new DSN)
It should also work fine, if you create the DSN from within the software
(if a "Create Connection" function is available in the application).
